Labcoats for doctors & therapists

When I am working with people who have a compromised immune system or a potentially contagious bug (which essentially includes anyone), the last thing I want is a lab coat to carry bugs between patients. Here is a link to an article in the New York Times about a move afoot to "ban" lab coats for doctors.
