Spinal Stenosis
Spinal stenosis is diagnosed when the spinal cord is being irritated by encroaching vertebral bones. When the part of the spine that is stenotic bends backwards this encroachment is increased. A relatively straight spine will decrease this irritation by allowing more space for the spinal cord. Bill Gallagher, physical therapist treats this spinal condition by:
Providing manual therapy to decrease spinal compression
Prescriptive exercise (physical therapy) for strengthening and stretching
Tai Chi, Qigong & Feldenkrais to learn postural and movement habits that support spinal health.
Bill Gallagher, holistic physical therapist in New York City (NYC) has worked with hundreds of people suffering from this condition and has often made a significant "dent" in the pain in the first session. Email him today for more info: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
