Spondylolisthesis
Spondylolisthesis is diagnosed when anterior displacement of a vertebra or the vertebral column in relation to the vertebrae below occurs. The term “spondylolisthesis” was coined from the Greek “spondyl” for vertebrae and “olisthesis” for slip. These "slips" occur most commonly in the lumbar spine and are usually manageable with a combination of Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi/Qigong, Feldenkrais and Osteopathy to address the structural and functional aspects of this condition.
Holistic Physical Therapist, Bill Gallagher, treats spondylolisthesis at his office (88th & Broadway) and makes home visits to clients on the upper East side and upper West side of Manhattan (NYC).
