Bill Gallagher takes an integrative, holistic approach to Physical Therapy that weaves together a combination of interventions that are customized to each person he works with:
1) Examine the body including posture, body mechanics, muscle tone & flexibility to find out the cause of pain or disability .
2) Assess beliefs the mind holds regarding pain, recovery and health.
3) Perform an eclectic integration of manual therapy approaches including osteopathic manipulation, muscle energy techniques, tui na, myofascial release, shiatsu and trigger point work best suited for each client.
4) Teach physical and mental techniques to facilitate recovery including Qigong, Yoga, Taijiquan, core strengthening, meditation, guided imagery, cognitive-behavioral training and self-massage.
