Tai Chi Chuan

Bill has been studying and teaching tai chi (aka taiji) most common of the "internal" martial arts of China for over 30 years.  He has also studied baguazhang and hsing i for 30 years.

Practices from tai chi, hsing i (aka xing yi) and baguazhang are the best way to improve balance in a functionally meaningful way quickly. Bill's clinical experience and 179 clinical trials indicate that this venerable Chinese discipline is, for the majority of people at risk of falling, the most effective way to prevent falls and reduce or eliminate fear of falling.

These practices are also very helpful for people with low back pain, especially spinal stenosis.

Holistic Physical Therapist teaches Tai Chi for fall prevention & fear of falling, low back pain, pelvic pain, hip pain, knee pain, foot pain, chronic pain conditions, anxiety and trauma/PTSD.

Here is a link to an article Bill wrote on the robust evidence that Tai Chi is very beneficial.
